A good hearty veggie beef soup has always been one of my favorite meals.Especially on a cold winter day when I make it in a crock pot.Although I enjoy making soup from scratch when I have the time, I often use various mixes that add all the spices and ingredients for you.As you may expect, some mixes are much better than others.I decided to try the Bear Creek brand when I saw it here for I have never seen it in any stores.Take it from me, it makes really great soup that is rich and spicy, but not with too much of anything added to make it overpowering.Its also the kind of mix that takes kindly to anything extra that you may enjoy adding to it like other reviewers have suggested.
