I definitely consider these soups to be over priced but this soup is extremely tasty and well worth the Amazon price after their additional special sale is also deducted.The problem with most canned soups, and this is absolutely no exception, is that the salt content of one can fulfills 100% of every individual's daily requirement of sodium.And they don't even use Sea Salt or other more natural salts instead of the artificially man made damaging chemically altered salt.I know that this salt makes up a good portion of the volume and weight of each can but it is killing our society and should be replaced and eliminated.Someone must know how to 'can' a tasty, lower, good salt soup?

I call this product Wyler's Soup Starter - because it's so flexible. I add extra potatoes, carrots, onions and whatever other vegtables I have left over from the week. I also use chicken, beef or vegtable broth instead of water. Every week during the winter I make one or two of these soups. Family and guests always ask for the receipe and I told/tell them to buy these packages and add whatever they like to make it their own. It's the best, and I whole hearly recommend it to every cook to try. I've been using it for many many years and my family always requests my soups during the cold months. I was not pleased with the taste of this jerky.It was nothing more than another cheap, dry, ultra tough, and poor tasting jerky that isn't even very spicy.It's also loaded with MSG if that's a concern for you.I bought a whole box and wound up throwing away the last two packages since they sat around opened for so long as we just couldn't force ourselves to eat anymore of it.This just isn't good jerky.

Pemmican jerky is some of my favorite jerky (outside of the nuggets from Jack Links), although the peppered variety isn't the best I've had from them.I prefer the mesquite or the original.

The jerky is nice and chewy like I like it, but yet not hard as a rock.Amazon in the past has sent me stuff close to expiration, but these had at least a year before it expired.The 1.8oz packs are great also because it's about the perfect amount for a snack.

My baby enjoyed this flavor when I purchased it at a store. I ordered a case of it from Amazon.the whole case arrived moldy.Each jar popped when I opened it too, showing that it was properly sealed.I contacted Earth's Best.They said they would look into it but would not follow up with me.Given what is going on in our food industry, I will not purchase any more products from this company.It is to scary when feeding a baby.Amazon refunded me but did not take it any further.Be very careful and inform other families too. UPDATE: I was so disappointed with the lack of concern from Earth's Best and Amazon.I contacted the FDA, they referred me to the USDA because the product contained meat.They took it very serious and had also received several complaints.They have come to my house and written a report.If anyone else noticed this problem please contact the USDA (1-888-674-6854).

The Hot Pastrami flavor is divine!I like spicy things and just ordered another shipment of these because I went through them faster than I had anticipated.They are moist and chewy, but not so chewy that you're still chewing to make it swallowable after all the flavor's gone.I think they struck a nice balance.

A caveat: If you're used to Tofurky Jurky or Primal Spirit, these will strike you as a little bit airy.Also, these are a bit higher in fat than the other brands: 8 or 9 grams per 160-calorie package.These ones don't really feel too oily in your mouth, though.

and this Brand is simply the worst. i normally get this type of product at Trader Joes, but it's been sometime since they carried Soy Jerky. i did find them here on Amazon. i tried the Tasty Eats soy jerky first. this is very good (the flavors i've tried). then i order this brand (Spice of Life Meatless Jerky) and Primal Strips. the Primal Strips are prettie good. the texture is a tad oily. now the Spice of Life MJ has a great texture, but the taste is really bitter and strong. my Children love regular Beef Jerky and they really like the Tasty Eats Soy Jerky, but they simply hated this brand. my son even said he almost throw-up. i do not recommend this product. stinks for me, because i ordered a box (24 packs). live and learn, right?

Review of Lucky Country Licorice

I wasn't expecting much with this stuff. I ordered some of the fruit flavors (pineapple, green apple, black cherry) through a mega blowout sale. My experience with these licorices that originate in Australia is that they're way too soft to be satisfying. I like some chew and gum in my licorice.

Well, surprise surprise, it turns out that this stuff is reasonably chewy. Not incredibly so, but much less soft that the standard Australian varieties. Maybe because this stuff is actually made under license in the US.

The flavors are good--vibrant, but not so sugary sweet that you find your throat hurting (unlike, say, the fruit flavored Twizzler varieties). The chew is good. A (suprisingly) nice surprise.

We have found one cat and one dog who like this jerky.Every human I've pawned this off on thinks it stinks, so the two animals keep having the opened packages offered to them. I added a couple torn into bits to a squash stew last night, and it almost snuck into the family meal.It added a "meaty" texture as it rehydrated and the flavor fortunately was minimized.Straight out of the bag, these little disks are nasty in flavor and the texture is very, very spongy.The diameter is larger than a nickel, smaller than a quarter.The two animals give it a star, but be careful you only give them one at at time so they don't get sick.Humans polled don't even give it one star.

I ENJOYED EATING THIS BEEF WITH MY MOUTH.I COOKED IT ON A STOVE WHICH IS IN MY HUMBLE OPINION A SUPERIOR WAY OF COOKING THIS ENJOYABLE BEEF.ITS VERY DENSE AS I FOUND WHEN I ROLLED IT INTO A BALL AND THREW IT AT THE NOISY NEIGHBORS.I HEAR HE WILL BE OUT OF THE INTENSIVE CARE UNIT SHORTLY.

The quality of this meat is very good.It is also convenient. It tastes simply, like cooked ground hamburger.You also get alot.That is there are no fillers.When you open the can you'll see the congealed fat, the meat and some juice.If you are health conscious you can easily scoop off the fat.You could also use it all as-is for added flavor.It does cost more than fresh ground beef, but the grocery stores will be impossible to get to when the zombies attack.

Review of Jack Link's Beef Jerky, Jalapeno, 1.8-Ounce Packages (Pack of 8)

I love most Jack Links jerky products,however, I was disappointed with this product though it had all the heat - the flavor was lacking true pepper taste. It tasted like a bunch of powdered old HOT spices not a true fresh pepper cure. I think the mistake most people make with hot peppers is not removing the seeds before using, as this can give a bitter as well as hot taste. I have not given up on Jack Links - just ordered their turkey jerky!

Review of Jim Beam Peppered Beef Jerky, 1.7-Ounce Bags (Pack of 8)

The beef had good texture, just the right amount of pepper and it did not melt in your mouth like some other famous brands. This size package was good because there never were leftovers to worry about. The size of the pieces varied per package, none were too small.

Saw these Beef Steak Nuggets first at a Target Store and decided on a whim to try it... I guess based on the great looking photo on the bag. Wow! Best tasting high-protein snack I have ever had! Now I eat them anytime. Lunch, dinner, whenever I need to take the edge of hunger off, instead of eating a candy bar. Instant energy and fantastic taste. I know, I know... I sound like I work for the company, but I don't. I've actually gotten all my friends and family to try them, and they love them too. I recently also tried their A-1 Steak Sauce version of the Beef Nuggets, and those are not as good. Make sure you get the original.

I usually love these little treats, but the ones i got must have been sitting around at amazon for a year or so, because they were really hard andunedible. had to give most of them to the dog :(However, the expiration date had not expired (SELLBY NOV07), so i would say Stonewall's needs to move their expiration date up a few months.

Review of Country Style Canned Beef, 27 oz

This product is excellent. I took a chance on buying a couple of cases of the 14oz cans because there are no preservatives or additives.It is just Beef, salt, and pepper. They actually cook it in the can and it is the most delicious canned mean I've ever eaten.
There is no water added but when you open the can there is plenty of juice, which is great for flavoring soup, chili, or you can even make it into gravy if you want.
I intended to keep it for an emergency food suppy or for camping but I find myself using it all the time not just because its easy but because its so darned good. Beef burgandy is a snap, I also add it to chili beans, in mexican food, and in seveal other recipies.
The chunks really are chunks which are larger than you would typically eat in a bite but that is part of what makes it so versitle.You can cube it down to smaller chunks or you can shred the meat quickly with a fork and it is like having a slow cooked roast.

These beef chunks are tender and delicious, and they are from Indiana U.S.A. Wow, we can still do something right.

I will be buying more without a doubt.

Pepperoni is nice and spicy. But the cheese isn't doing well. Got a box less than two weeks ago and 4 out of 12 (so far) had moldy cheese in them. Very disappointing given the sell-by date is October.

I found this on the spice shelf of my local grocer and decided to give it a try. What a find! Our house smells like a gourmet kitchen every time I use it. It's excellent in the oven and on the grill. Recently, smaller stores stopped carrying the product, so it's a lot harder to find. But it's well worth the trouble. I've tried many other brands of chicken rubs/seasonings (McCormick, etc.) but this one is by far the best.

Perfect Grilling and Broiling:Heat grill or broiler.Shake or rub Perfect Blend onto chicken or turkey pieces, using about 2 tsp. per pound.Grill over low heat or broil 5 inches from heat, turning occasionally, until internal temperature reaches 170ºF, about 20 minutes for boneless and about 30 to 40 minutes for bone-in pieces, depending on size. Review of Jack Link's Beef Jerky, Jalapeno, 3.65-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6)

This jerky was very tasty.It's now one of my favorite flavors of jack link's.It has a good amount of spice to it, but not so much that it's overwhelming if you eat spicy food regularly.

I love spicy food and eat it regularly, so if you don't have a high tolerance for spicy food, this may be a little too much for you.

Review of Biltong Sliced 8oz

Since moving to the US, I thought my times for enjoying Biltong were long gone. Well, not so. This chewy, flavorsome delght is just about as good as it gets.
I would like to say the bags are too small but that would me being greedy.
If you have never had biltong before, its a little different but after your third peice, you will be ordering again.

p.s. as for the sausage, did I like? Not so much.

This is one of my favorite Beef Jerky and my favorite flavor of Oberto.This has a good flavor.I am not a big meat eater but this really helps me stay out of the anemic range and gets all my iron/protein in.I like the chewier softer pieces better than the hard pieces, however.This is always with me when I go on a road trip too.
