This jerky is a little better than the typical jerky you can be in the grocery store. The quality of the beef is better than the few I have tried in the store. There were a few pieces in the 4 oz bag that were difficult to deal with. This is not a dry jerky, in fact that bag says you must eat or freeze the contents within 3 days. It also contains "hydrolyzed soy protein" which is an ingredient that contains MSG in addition to containing straight monosodium glutamate. It also contains sodium nitrate, silicon dioxide, glycol propylene, and sodium erythorbate, which is stuff I don't want in my "premium beef jerky."Product Description
