Personally I like them just right out of the Microwave, they feel fresh and warm.
The only issue I had is that you need to know how much time you put on the Microwave( since they are not like popcorn that you can hear poping out) you will know when they are ready just by paying attention and carefully listen the little crunchy sound; and is some small Microwave you will need to fold the cornes of the bag, otherwise you will have a scent of burn on you room!!
Once you master the cook time, you'll enjoy them most!!

I purchased entrees through Angel Food Ministries so I could have something to feed my 9 yr old son when I was too tired or did not feel well enough to cook. These are not like ordinary frozen food you get at the supermarket, they taste delicious and are low in sodium and calories. You feel like you are eating something healthy and I felt good giving it to my son to eat. You get a good portion and if you can eat all of it you feel full. That is something most frozen meals do not do and if you are trying to watch your calories most diet meals are not low in sodium like these meals are. Basically I cannot say enough good things about this food and I am happy I can get them through Amazon.

I am a Jerky hobbyist. I can't tell you what really makes a good piece of Jerky, but I can tell you if it one of the better ones out there. This combo pack was kind of a disappointment. I back on a low-carb diet and purchased different types of jerky from different vendors. This meat has a very natural and mild flavor. It wasn't at all bad. It just didn't have any WOW. I find myself going back to other brands as these ones sit in a plastic zip lock in my fridge. When these first arrived, I wanted to keep them to myself because of the price. Now I give out samples, trying to get rid of it. Other friends say it tastes good, or pretty good, but don't ask for more. Maybe I'm just not into the natural flavor. All in all, I liked the product but wouldn't buy it again.

The actual jerky in this set is very good.unfortunately, the bulk of this set is some kind of meat stick and they're pretty funky.Can't get anyone around here to eat them, so they're just going to wind up in the trash I guess.The elk was OK and the buffalo was pretty good.I just wish it was lots of the regular jerky instead of those cruddy meat sticks.

"Legend has it that in his endeavor to cope with all his wives a certain Sultan summoned all his confectionery experts and ordered them to produce a unique dessert to add to his collection of secret recipes for which he was famous. As a result of extensive research Turkish Delight was born."

The ingredients are as basic as sugar, water and starch, but the flavor is smooth, slightly soft and sticky and dreamy floral sweet. It is impossible to imagine how such perfection evolves from the list of ingredients. The Turkish Delights in this beautifully designed box are flavored with lemon or rose.

The rose flavor is especially exotic and transports you to lands of mystery and intrigue. You can quite see how Edmund from C.S. Lewis' book "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" could become enchanted with the flavor of Turkish Delights and obey the White Witch, although I think I will stop at one box this year and order another next year.

The beautiful box and the sweet delicious confections make this an excellent gift for anyone you want to spoil.

I had high hopes for this salame, but was really let down. Bland and tasteless, and I mean REALLY tasteless,
your tongue searches your mouth for a hint of flavor and it's like nothing's there except a chewey, tasteless mass. The only thing I can think of is that Molnari
has terrible quality control to let a product like
this out of the plant. I have wasted money before, (I bought TWO of these 12 oz salamis which cost me more than $30), and this purchase takes the Grand Prize for stupidity.

What some people call moist, I call chewy.Perhaps a bit too much so.Maybe I am just used to a drier product.The taste is good.It has a great maple flavor.It is not too sweet, either.

It is made out of pork, though.Somehow I missed that in the description.Oops!

It's just not as great as some of the other flavors like sweet/hot, nacho, and so on. It's not even really that hot. They captured 80% of the flavor of tabasco, and none of the heat.

Met up with Bill, and his group, while on vacaction, in Florida. Friend of a friend thing....but was invited to a cook out at his resort. Bill grilled steak, seafood, vegetables using his spices. We purchased this turkey for T-day and it arrived right on time, nicely iced.We brined it with just plain kosher salt overnight.We roasted the turkey breast-side up and then turned it over so that the breast was underneath.It was the best tasting turkey we've ever had.Several of our dinner guests said that they were not very fond of turkey, but that this bird changed their minds!
We'll be ordering these turkeys next year.

Branigan's Turkey Farm was established in 1942 in Woodland, California. The family owned operation raises 18,000 to 20,000 turkeys per year. The reason that Branigan Turkeys are different from regular store bought turkeys is that they are raised longer. Most turkeys are processed at 16 weeks. Although they are considered mature turkeys at these ages, Branigan Farms feels that they must be raised longer to acquire a proper meat finish. It's expensive to feed turkeys after 16 weeks because their weight gain per pound of feed decreases, but Branigan feels it's the only way to achieve a quality bird. Therefore, Branigan raises their turkeys 25 to 27 weeks to acquire that proper finish. By raising the turkeys longer, they develop a thin film of fat under the skin that makes them self-basting, so we don't have to add any type of oil or butter. You just let the turkey cook in its own natural juices. Besides being raised for quality flavor and value (more meat per bone), Branigan Turkeys are also processed for the same. Every bird has all fine pin feathers removed, kidneys removed (excess weight), giblets and neck properly packaged and stored in turkey cavity and chilled with ice before final packaging. Bringing the body temperature down with ice before packaging is expensive, but keeps the water content of the turkey very low and adds to the quality of the meat. All turkeys are vacuum packed in a clear bag. Why a clear bag? Because Branigan's Turkey Farm is proud of its turkeys and feels you, the consumer, likes to see the quality you pay for. Folks, move along--don't buy this from these people.They are completely incompetent.The links showed up rancid, so I refused the order (but they also took TWO+ WEEKS TO SHIP THIS NIGHTMARE, and made my whole experience the worst I have had w/Amazon in 8 years).

As an example, here's how they dealt w/my order 2 weeks ago:

1 Waited a WEEK, then called me 6 TIMES, harassing me in the middle of a work meeting.
2 No one should EVER ship food 2nd day on Wednesdays--most food companies realize this.If the shipper does make a mistake, the food is sitting in a warehouse somewhere, rotting.These people actually WAIT A WEEK AND A HALF, then ship on Wednesdays!Then they try to blame the shippers for their own inccompetence!
3. The owner of this company then, after all the fiasco discussed above, send a nasty email, complaining about my rudeness (yeah, why don't we call him 6 times in a row, during some inconvenient time).He also blamed the shipping being late on FedEx (um, if you shipped on Tuesday or Monday, this doesn't happen)
4. Finally, he tried to claim they had upgraded me for shipping on 2nd day air, when the shipping was FREE for orders over 80 dollats.

All in all, this is a really bad company.If you want headaches, then please feel free and order from these people.

My advice?Order from D'Artagnans--I've dealt with them many times and they are considerate, acknowledge mistakes and at least attemt to rectify mistakes, instead of denying any fault at all.

One last thing to sum this up--I ordered A WEEK LATER from Thai Food here on Amazon.The order showed up 5 DAYS BEFORE THIS DID.But they're not incompetent--not if you talk to them!

Review of Pet Naturals of Vermont Natural Cat Daily Beef

We are currently using the Daily Motion and the Senior formulas of Pet Naturals, depending on which of our three dogs is up to bat for his or her "daily."I can only say good things about the superior formulas of Pet Naturals supplements, except for one thing, none of our three dogs want anything to do with them. They are "smoke" flavored, which I took to mean something up the line of jerky or bacon sort of flavoring. No, these smell more like a fireplace, not attractive to a human or a dog, unless one or the other was contemplating chewing and swallowing charcoal briquettes as a treat. I have to say all in all, it's very hard to find any supplement or medication that is supposedly attractively flavored for canines that they actually like. I think it's rather like the "great tasting cherry flavor" cough syrups, they just fall short. Given the dogs aren't too motivated regarding their health, I have found myself with the chore of crushing these and adding to food, or skillfully concealing them in cream cheese blobs. Crushing is most easily accomplished for me by placing on the counter and using the palm of my hand placed on top of the side of the french chef knife laying flat atop the vitamin. Any parent of a two year old or a pet knows the sort of tricks we will resort to. I will stick with this brand, unless I find better, due to the absolutely OUTSTANDING nutritional values that make the hassle factor so worth it. If the flavor was more human friendly, I would consider taking these myself. It would be far more hassle to have try and give many separate products to get the full range of supplements found in just one of these pills. The value for the money is pretty good, too, as just a half to one pill is a "serving" for a small breed under about 20lbs. This is a much better value than some brands requiring a whole pill or several pills, but the same number in the bottle for equal or greater price. Taste is ick, but the price and health outrank this one issue. I really wish they would improve the flavor of these so I could give them five stars. Oh the luxury.

Think Twice Friends! I love Bresaola! I have eaten more than my fair share and I will caution you on ordering this product. 1-My order weighed in a exactly 1 pound 3 ounces, which is 40% less than what I paid for. 2- This meat has a distinct plastic taste and smell that penetrates the outer third of the meat. I paid for next day shipping to ensure the product would not be mishandled in shipping. After a month, I got a partial refund, with prodding Ditalia via email. Final cost was: $33.00 or $1.68 per ounce or $26.88 per pound, which would be a bargain if it was any good. Aside from homemade or Dean & DeLuca's, I can't vouch for the others but I will call this an experiment gone bad. For myself, if Gianni or Guido can't make me some homemade, then I will go with Dean & DeLuca's. You get what you pay for!

I learned about this spice blend from one of my favorite lunch spots that has a terrific grilled steak lunch special. Being a regular, the owner let me in on "the secret". It was Tone's Canadian Steak Seasoning. Just sprinkle it on and press it into both sides and grill. Its great at enhancing flavor and adding some "garlic bite". But be careful to not put on too much, it is chock full of flavor.

I also make a marinade for shish-kabobs with it adding red wine vinegar and olive oil. This has become a well-loved family favorite. I haven't yet tried it on other foods. It is so ideally suited for beef I feel it might be too much for chicken, shrimp, or other lighter meats. But on steaks... it is The Bomb... highly recommended!

According to the ingredients are salt, chili peppers, garlic, onion, spices, parsley.

My parents used to buy the Underwood Roast Beef spread every so often when I was growing up. Sadly, the stores around here don't sell it anymore- it's become quite difficult to find anywhere, really. On a whim, I decided to see if Amazon had it, and as soon as I saw that they did, I had to buy it. The stuff is still as tasty as I remember it to be. We always spread it on bread with mayo, as the spread itself can be a bit rich. I sometimes like to mix it with a little mayo and use it as dip for carrots or spread it on crackers.When the package came, the whole family decended on it like a pack of wolves. lol The 12 cans didn't last our family too long, but it was well worth the cost. I plan on buying more sometime in the future- I just wish I could find it in my local stores.

I eat this stuff almost everyday. It's low in calories for an instant soup mix, and it tastes remarkably like the real thing. My only issue is that I have found a 30 piece carton of the regular packages (still 2.1 oz) at my local asian market for $10.99. Plus I don't have to wait a week to get it. But If you can't get it that way, I would definitely order some, and order som Sriracha hot sauce to go with it. You may also want to try it with fresh basil leaves, mung bean sprouts, and the most important ingredient.... lime.

"Steaks in the mail" sounded a bit weird to me at first, but somehow I got a hold of a coupon and tried Omaha Steaks. To my surprise, the steaks were really good! I assume that the steaks are frozen as soon as they are butchered because they tasted fresher than steaks bought at any supermarket I had ever been to. It just seemed to be an all-around quality product.

The flavor of the jerky is tasty. It has a nice brown sugar soy flavor...but it is extremely moist. It is way too moist. It is almost soggy. I am going to try and put it in the oven and see if I can dry it out. After just touching it, my wife will not even eat it because the texture grossed her out. she said it feels like slime...I agree. looks like i will be trying another type!

Just noticed...the only people reviewing this jerky with 5 stars just happen to be in the immediate vicinity to where the jerky is produced. i would look at the other flavors and look for reviews from other states so you make sure the review is not from an employee or owner of the company.

I received a very well packaged (and promptly shipped even) package of the Habanero Jerky from Mahogany Smoked Meats.

The jerky itself it obviously made from good meat (vs some of the garbage you'd get from Oberto or whomever). The initial smell is excellent. An aroma of pepper and brown sugar.

However, the Jerky itself is somewhat sticky. The pieces of the jerky itself are stuck together, so extracting a single piece for consumption becomes a chore. After you're done, your hands are all sticky. My guess is if they manufacturer spent a little longer in a dessicator, we'd have a drier product that tasted just as well.

As for how spicy. Well, my lips are burning. I like that. I really love Habanero (and in fact grow several varieties at home). This isn't some "slightly spicy" product with the name Habanero in it to make it seem macho. It will scorch your mouth. In my opinion, scorch in a good way.

The price is great. You'd spend that much at any store, buying a far lower quality of jerky, and just try finding habanero ANYTHING at Safeway.

Kudos to Amazon for removing yet one more thing from my shopping list. Additional kudos to Mahogany Smoked Meats for having such a wonderful product.

I've taken one star off for the jerky being so sticky (I guess it's the sugar?), and the difficulty of separating out the pieces of jerky themselves.

Definitely recommended.

I found this at K-mart and LOVED it! Jerky is tender and the flavor was perfect.
I bought all they had and went to another store and bought all there's. I now have everyone at work hooked and have sent about 6 bags overseas to my son in Iraq.

I had bought this before as a snack at the store and i love the combination of the beef and the white cheddar.I figure i would try to buy it bulk instead of paying $2 a pack at the store.However, I'm not sure if it was stored too long in the warehouse or if it was too hot in the warehouse, but the cheese was disgusting!it was dry and crumbly and had this awful taste.I even opened a second and third pack to see if it was a fluke, but all of the packages were like this.The beef stick was good, however, if i had to order again, i'd order the product without the cheese.It just was not fresh.(and yes, i did check the expiration date and it wasn't expired)

Review of Certified Angus Beef Smoked Sampler (16 ounces)

This is some of the best beef jerky I have ever had. It is far superior to Oberto and similar brands they sell at the supermarket.

I ordered this and a similar non-Angus Beef Jerky product from the same vendor through Amazon so I could get free shipping on a $40 order along with my A9 discount. Product arrived within 3 days of when I ordered it via USPS priority mail.

Both Angus and non-Angus varieties were outstanding. Very fresh. Very tasty! (Note: this SKU is all Angus).

Caution: it is hard to stop eating it, and eating 10oz of beef jerky in one sitting has some digestive consequences.

The product is packaged nicely in vacuum seal packaging, but you need a knife or scissors to open it. It comes as 4*1OZ strips of each flavor. Only the Cajun strips are individually wrapped. The rest come in 4 packs.

The pepper flavor and the teriyaki flavor were my favorites, and in the future, I will order only those. The Angus product is very slightly better than the non-Anugs product. The teriyaki and the Cajun flavors are a little greasy, but apply a paper towel once to them, and the grease is gone. The Cajun is a little spicy, but not too over-the-top.

The products are very high quality. No cartridge. No visible fat.
